Mom said we had some sprinkles along with lightning. I was like "Going to the stables in this mess with one more work day to go? I don't think so." Tomorrow I has the freedoms!

I didn't realise how hot it was until I was outside at the stables watching Kelly limp around. :\ She's no worse but no better and I told Diane as much. I have been thinking a lot about having goats (dwarf Nigerians, 1 milking female one wether (cut) male). Mostly it is due to wanting to have not just the milk but making cheese and goat milk soap is the best for cleaning "down there" (outside not in!). Kelly's walking better. Tomorrow is the third day she's had a saddle on her and working on flexing on one side then another during walks and trotting. I'm also trying to get control over her hindquarters but some work is needed there. She's got it sort of.

Four more weeks in the boot then maybe I can start riding again....I hope.

Had my medication upped by the doctor after a light stern talking too about self-medicating. Well not quite self as I was still taking one medication. Still, we are trying to prevent the problems that arose from my lack of forward thinking ( Read more... )
